An Opportunity to Share and Communicate with Children
in a Distant Part of the World
Several people from all parts of the USA will be traveling to Iran in
April. Part of their journey will involve visits to schools and
meeting school children. School children and others have the
opportunity to write short letters or draw pictures representing their
idea of a world at peace. Travelers to Iran will share these with
Iranian school children, and bring back pictures and letters to share.
This is a rare opportunity for children to develop friendships that span the globe.
Letters should be on light paper, and pictures on paper no bigger than
11 x 16 “. Young authors and artists may include their address
and/or email future communcation. Email is best.
